We hope that
you choose Samron Midwest Contracting for your next construction project!
At Samron, jobsite safety is the single most important aspect of our business. All of our tradesmen are OSHA 10 hour certified and our project managers and superintendents are OSHA 30 hour certified. We take a proactive approach to safety though our employee safety award incentive program and mandatory safety training. Our three year experience modification rate (EMR) average is 0.86 which
reflects our dedication to safety.
Samron has an unparalleled staff of construction professionals with over 100 years of combined experience in the industry. Our engineers, project managers and superintendents have a reputation of completing projects on schedule and under budget while exceeding our client’s expectations. SMC is proud to say that our team is the best in the business.
Given the recent stress in the construction industry and economy in general, the staying power of your builder is more important than ever. Since our inception, Samron has managed its affairs with a level of financial prudence highly uncommon in the industry. By most industry standards, we are over capitalized. Why would we do that? Because if we are going to back up our commitments, we must
maintain sufficient liquidity and capital to do so, even when times are tough. Our single project bonding limit of $25 million and an aggregate bonding capacity of $40 million allows us to tackle almost any project that our clients bring to us.
Samron is committed to maintain the ability to self‐perform key components of the work. The primary types of work that we are capable of performing with our own forces are earthwork, demolition, structural concrete, concrete site work, concrete flatwork, architectural concrete, carpentry and structural steel erection. By self‐performing some or all of the above work, we can better control the project schedule and budget and ultimately deliver a better project to our clients. During preconstruction, a real builder can be much more effective than a broker in evaluating proposed design details for constructability and cost effectiveness.
